Tasting Notes:
Sauvignon Blanc 2008
The drying process has concentrated the varietal character here, with wonderful lemon, lime and herbs on the nose. The palate shows subtle hints of fresh cut grass, mineral and grapefruit framed in a background of vanilla-cream. A well balanced dose of acidity leads to an exceptionally smooth finish.
Sauvignon Blanc 2007
"Twenty percent of the grapes in this wine were dried on racks as a means to give more depth. It is aromatic, with passion fruit, gooseberries, lime zest, nectarine and honey aromas that lead into a full bodied mouthful of minerals, grassy notes and citrus qualities. Long finish and very concentrated."
