Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Dark purple and black cherry in colour, this wine shows great intensity on the nose, with deep black and red fruit, suggesting plum, cassis, black cherry, and a slight mintiness which shows its varietal roots. On the palate, wonderful extraction provides powerfully rich, yet exceptionally soft tannins that are balanced by good acidity. The wine is dry with an illusion of sweetness that lifts the fruit forward, with sustained and well integrated flavours of cassis, cocoa and caramel bringing you to long, complex finish.
